This laser is everything it is advertised to be! I play with the thing every night. It is EXTREMELY powerful. For those who think that this thing can't pop a balloon or light a match because of the price: You're WRONG! It will certainly do everything they say it will. I am very pleased and will buy more of these sweet lasers! Thanks

burns matchs easy.after- felt penning- the match heads blue or black.even without fresh batterys.punchs holes in black plastic very fast .super fun .keep away from all children.im very satisfied with entire trans action..frank

It's great the way it is, but if you slide a piece of 3/4 clear tubing in and put a push spring in the plastic tubing. Converts it too/ 2 X CR2
batteries perfectly and tight. Normally it uses 3 X 1.5 volt Batteries= 4.5 Volts. 2 X CR2 batteries @ 3 Volts each, increases voltage by 1.5
volts. Batteries lasts much longer and it is considerably a much brighter Laser and the LED's stay the same brightness. I'm on the 4th set of batteries in 1 year using it lots. Still works perfectly. Warranty fails if it dies though, you can't return it for a replacement after modifing the voltage if it fails. My experience doing this on 3, is it is worth the risk. These are well built. [Editors Note: We undertstand that DIY hacks of Laser Gadgets are popular these days, but keep in mind that any such product hacks will void your warranty ... and please always excercise caution]

Realy powerfull Laserpointer. If you put three fresh aaa bateries in it, it realy burn black plastik, foam rubber, matches and many mor matirials.
i try putting in two CR2 batteries that increase the power but with 6V my laserpointer turn of after ca 2 minutes and had to cool down, the batteries last longer at full power, aaa batteries quickly lose their power.
I have a usb cable soldered. It was easy to open, but you must proceed very cautiously. now it has a constant laser power and can continue operating without being overheated.
At a higher distance the point is quite large but it's still very bright. (I have not measured exactly)
If you use a lens, you can Focusing the laser beam even more. It's fun to experiment with.
Then you can even burn bright wood surfaces, I tried it with matches, and was surprised (not tried it with regular batteries).
But I must say, it's not a toy for children. If the laser beam hits the eye directly, it can be damaged or destroyed, be careful! You should wear safety glasses.
The LED flashlight is very bright and practical.
